It was well packed. No damage to crate or mill noted. Mill is as expected. Preservative oil needed to be cleaned off. Works fine. Needs trammed in. My X axis was right leaning by .030. Y was off about .006. Shimmed with the shim kit offered by LMS. Took about 4hr. As everyone pretty much knows the plastic gears in these Seig mill are noisy.

Hi Dave, The AL-320G works fine, is good value and reliable. Though an entry level lathe itself, by comparison, the Sieg machines you mentioned are toys. Like most lathes at this price point, their biggest drawback is that you have. to manually change gears to cut different threads.
